Professional Development Day 2017 - September 2, 2017

About: The Hawai‘i chapter of the American Choral Director’s Association (HI-ACDA) sponsors an annual Professional Development Day. The event’s mission is to:

Offer a day of education for conductors to learn from one another as well as to hear from guest speakers outside of the HI-ACDA community.
Provide an opportunity for our broad and diverse community of conductors to network and connect with one another.

Our third annual Professional Development Day will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the University of Hawai’i at West ’O’ahu (91-1001 Farrington Highway, Kapolei, HI 96707).  This year’s theme is “Rehearsal Techniques and Methods.”

Schedule: This year, we welcome the introduction of two tracks, as well as our first conducting masterclass, led by Dr. David Means. Participants are free to choose freely between the two tracks. For more information on the sessions and their presenters, please click here.
