Meet Rina Robin

ACDA has provided me with ample opportunities to meet members of the choral community across Hawaiʻi. As a music education student, I’ve really enjoyed connecting with future colleagues. Through ACDA, I’ve been able to attend professional development days where I learned about different vocal techniques, conducting, selecting repertoire, and building relationships with future students.

This year, I am serving as the Kilohana University of Hawaiʻi ACDA President, and I am singing in the UH Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. As a future music educator, I am currently taking methods classes where I am able to observe and teach in school choirs across Oʻahu. This has been a great experience for me, and I’m so excited to continue practicing and growing my teaching skills.
