Meet Joshua Habermann

ACDA has provided me with mentors and colleagues who have inspired me with their example. Being a part of ACDA has made me a better choir director, and also provided me with a community of friends who share the same passion I have for choral music.

One project that I’m really excited for is with The Oahu Choral Society. The Oahu Choral Society is preparing Mālama i ka ʻĀina, a concert of music by Jake Runestad and Alec Schumacker about caring for the land. The concert features 85 singers, piano and strings, and we hope to see you there on May 4 at Kawaiahaʻo Church in Honolulu. 

One of my favorite choir memories was with the Santa Fe Desert Chorale at the ACDA National Conference of 2015. We sang again in Dallas this past March for this yearʻs conference, exactly ten years later.
