The Oʻahu Choral Society is holding auditions for new members August 18th 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the University of Hawaiʻi Music Building. We hope you will consider joining us for this exciting season! If interested, please click the button below to fill out an audition inquiry form!
The 2025-2026 season of Oʻahu Choral Society includes the following events:
Bach and His Time (October 10-12 2025, Sacred Hearts Chapel)
A program of historic music following up on the success of Latin American Baroque in 2024 featuring Symphonic and Chamber Choirs, Soprano, Tenor, Bass soloists and an instrumental ensemble.
Maluhia (December 6-7, 2025)
Our traditional program of seasonal favorites in the beautiful acoustics of Central Union Church. Will include both Symphonic and Chamber Choirs in a program of carols and sing-alongs appropriate for the whole family.
Songs of Life (February 25-27, 2026, co-presented with Univ. of Hawaii)
OCS Chamber Choir joins with the UH Chamber Choir in a program presenting songs related to stages of life. Music of Alec Schumacker (Funny Things My Kids Said), Michał Ziółkowski (Child, Child), Tracy Wong (Ikan Kekek).
Michael Foumai: Raise Hawaiki (April 16-19, 2026, co-presented with HSO)
OCS Chamber and Symphonic Choirs in collaboration with Hawai’i Symphony to present an iconic new choral-orchestral masterwork honoring Eddie Aikau and the wayfinding tradition of Pacific seafarers. This performance will be part of the HSO 2026 festival at Blaisdell Concert Hall.
OCS 30th Anniversary Celebration: (May 29-30, 2026)
OCS closes the season with a celebration of where we’ve been, and where we’re going. This will be a fun party and short musical program by the OCS Symphonic Choir.
