2026 Choral Conducting Masterclass

Join us for an evening of conducting, music-making, and professional learning with Alec Schumacker and Megann Salā, featuring the University of Hawaiʻi Chamber Singers.

Conductor registration is OPEN! Observers are warmly invited to attend at no cost. Watch our clinicians work directly with conducting participants and the ensemble as they explore gesture, rehearsal technique, musical communication, interpretation, and the many choices that shape effective choral conducting.

Whether you are a conductor, music educator, student, singer, or simply interested in the conducting process, the masterclass offers an opportunity to learn by watching the rehearsal process unfold in real time.
