About
Nā Leo Hou: Hawai‘i All-State Choral Festival, is cosponsored by the Hawai‘i chapter of the American Choral Director’s Association (HI-ACDA) and the Hawai‘i Youth Opera Chorus (HYOC). The event’s mission is to:

  • provide local high school singers with a high quality choral experience with a nationally renowned clinician;
  • create a venue for adjudicated individual school choir and mass ensemble performances;
  • foster collaboration, socialization, and cooperation between singers

Singers spend two and a half days in rehearsal and communion with an outstanding clinician that culminates in a free public concert.  Singers also learn a hula, complete an adjudicated sightreading experience, and have the option of performing as an individual school choir for adjudication.
